Mr. Ball grew up in the Mont Ida neighborhood and attended Westphalia Elementary where he participated in Wolverine athletics. He continued on to high school at Anderson County High School. Mr. Ball graduated at the top 13 in his class of 65 students and he also participated in Bulldog athletics, Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Track, and Baseball. Mr. Ball continued his academic career at Allen Community College and also walked on the baseball team. Finishing his college career, Mr. Ball transferred to Tabor College where he earned his teaching degree and played baseball.
Now, Mr. Ball is in his 9th year teaching at Westphalia Elementary, teaching 7-8 Science, 7-8 Health and K-8 P.E. He is also the boys basketball coach at Westphalia and an assistant Jr. High Football coach at ACJSHS.
Mr. Ball is married with 2 daughers at ages 3 and 1.5 years and a handful of animals at home to keep things lively.
