Mr. Barrera, Roberto comes to us from deep south Texas. He was born and raised in Alice, Tx. Where he attended St. Joseph Elementary school and public middle and high school. He then graduated from Texas A&M University Kingsville earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Bilingual Education.

Mr. Barrera, married Kari Denise Shanks of Independence, KS, and together they had two children Roberto Paul Barrera and Meagan Cesária Barrera. Mr. & Mrs. Barrera have 4 grandchildren living in Kansas.

Mr. Barrera accepted an invitation from Kansas University in Lawrence, KS. He will be attending graduate level courses.
