NCCC Welding

ACHS $10 per semester fee (minimum)

Welding meets at the NCCC Tech Center on Walnut Street in Garnett. Typically, students provide their own transportation to and from the Welding Center.

* In the Spring of Level 1 Welding, student must purchase a blueprint reading book (about $100)

Spring:  Shielded Metal Arch Welding      9 college credits/1.5 high school credits

            Gas Met Arc Welding

            Welding Blueprint Reading

Level II Welding (Second Year Student) – 2 class periods 

Fall:        Advanced Gas Tungsten Arc Welding                8 college credits/1.0 high school credits

             Advanced Gas Metal Arch Welding

Spring:   Advanced Shielded & Metal Arc Welding          8 college credits/1.0 high school credits

             Specialized Welding
