Local Scholarships 2019-2020
 

1. Download the applications to your computer
2. Save the application often (to OneDrive and/or a flash drive)
3. Double check and/or have someone proof application
4. Print
5. Organize all the pieces.  Add nothing extra.  Leave nothing out.
6. If the application needs a counselor or principal to add something, this will be done after you turn it in (it’s a good idea to put a sticky note on it or some notification that it needs our attention)
7. Turn it in or mail it by the deadline (follow directions in the application or on the website)
   
   It might be a good idea to put deadlines of scholarships on a calendar to help keep track.

Common Deadline unless otherwise noted is March 10 at 3:30pm

10-9-19 The local Garnett Chapter of PEO has opened their scholarship.  Application is listed below.
11-20-19 Added 4 Scholarships – Ottawa Co-op, FFA, KS BPW and Four Winds DAR.
1-6-20 Parkview Heights extended their deadline to Jan. 31 (but will give consideration to those in by initial deadline)
1-25-20 Added several new scholarships  (see list below)
1-27-20 Added many more new scholarships (see list below) – Still expecting about 10-15 more in the near future
1-31-20 Added all that I am aware of to date and updated deadline for Roatary Scholarship
