Hello! My name is Kyra Elliott and I am teaching English 12 at ACJSHS this year! I also teach speech and am the advisor for The Bulldog Barker, which is the journalism program at ACJHS. With that, I get the pleasure of teaching both junior high and high school journalism.

This is my fourth year teaching at ACJSHS, but it is not my first go-around in the building. I am a proud Bulldog alumna and part of the class of 2006. In my former experiences as a Bulldog, I was heavily involved in Student Council, FCCLA, Drama Club, the student newspaper, volleyball, and softball. I am so happy to be near all my former activities once again.

Besides graduating from ACHS, I also have a bachelor’s degree in communication from Emporia State University with a minor in journalism and a Master of Arts in Education from Kansas State University.
